My paper with @lewis_math, @rob_cope_c, Sandra Carlson at @Flutrack and @JVRoss_UoA on examining user behaviour to correct disease prevalence estimates is out! https://t.co/OzHOqfRMwm
@stammertescu @Qantas@AusHumanRights@ChinTanRDC Thanks George. Zero compassion from the staff at @qantas Adelaide airport. Even the slightest decent customer service would have resolved the issue and avoided this heartache.
@Qantas This morning my mother was meant to board at 06:05 from Adelaide to Sydney with Qantas, before flying to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific for my grandmother's funeral.
My mother and father were appallingly treated by airport staff, in a way I doubt would occur 1/n
To present on time to Qantas staff, while missing a single form out of 6 forms, and receive this is terrible, and I have no doubt if they were not elderly and were native English speakers this would not have happened.

when there was more time and with Cathay Pacific staff. They were told no.
My parents should have called me, but in their panic, they were worried about waking me. In the next hour, my father frantically tried to find this form online. 6/n
And thanks @AustMS for inviting me to share my experiences!
tldr: Didn't let self doubt get in the way of saying yes, and ended up helping the nation's response to #COVID19!
Here it is! The next installment in our series by Australian mathematicians at the forefront of the #COVID19 response, written by @MathsUOA PhD candidate and data scientist Dennis Liu.

@bradzacher Time to crank the music? Can relate, our neighbour has been breeding and locking the mother outside in a tiny decking space. With 2 other dogs, who don't get walked.
Very sad, not much sleep has been had.
We've told the council, they're yet to act, sadly.
@stammertescu @CaseyBriggs The sorry changes from we must trace everyone who bought a pizza, since we know someone caught it that way, to now we only need to focus on people working together. Huge difference in scale
