p.s. Q refused to reveal the inside story behind that, but Downs has been in Dallas less than 2 months and is already fully ingratiated in this locker room.

The Cowboys have agreed to terms with 3 UFL players: WR Denzel Mims, CB Ameer Speed, OL Chris Glaser, per sources. To make room, Matt Hennessy to IR and DB Corey Ballentine and WR Romello Brinson have been released. One roster spot remains open as training camp awaits.

Cowboys WR George Pickens said he’s not disappointed that he did not get a long-term deal. He doesn’t plan on holding out. He will be at training camp.

He said he didn’t attend voluntary OTAs because he was listening to his agent.

“What’s important to me is winning. Like I said from the beginning, I always wanna bring a Super Bowl to a group of guys that never had that feeling. That’s really the most important part to me.”

Well, #Cowboys Tyler Smith believes Rashan Gary has been a true leader so far, holding players accountable.

“…Even when we’re doing rehab I see him on his iPad, watching practice. I asked him, because you know we’re in OTAs so we only get 12 plays together, it’s not very much. I’m like what are you watching bro? And he’s like aw bro you know I’m watching individual [drills] and I’m making sure guys ain’t slacking on these drills. I make sure guys are locked in to what we’re trying to do and what we’re trying to perfect…”

One of amazing things about DaMarvion Overshown wedding was how down to earth and fun it. Credit to the families. Everyone had a good time
Before they had dinner and opened the bar, Overshown and his family took everyone to church with a praise break. The family choir, led by Overshown’s mom, threw down. She can sing.

What’s interesting to me about this new Cowboys defense is that it isn’t just about one position group holding it down.

What stands out about this Cowboys defense is the amount of position flexibility.

More disguise. More movement. More players who can rush, cover, and blitz from different alignments.

You got safeties that can do LBs, CB & Rushing responsibilities..

ILBs that will be doing Edge things..

Etc etc

It sounds like it’s going to be multiple, versatile & creative..
