This goes for internal tooling as well. Build business value, let the rising tide of AI tooling improve your experience with agents (though special sauce on top of agents/harnesses that are extremely specific to your company IMO are fine - nobody will give that to you)
@FarandPaulJr Seamaster Planet Ocean circa ~2022. Before the aggressive styling and PCLs. Minimal color but the orange accents add a sporty touch.
Has the microadjustable clasp that the Aqua Terras unfortunately don't which makes it convenient for daily wear.
@grinich No shared system atm so yeah, tools don't have consistent feel. Good and bad there.
I integrated RBAC with our (open source) access management tool - https://t.co/xbOi6672Xb. That manages roles for the platform then yes you can scope apps to only give certain teams access.
@grinich I think of the entire platform as a set of chained callables and think about where I can remove friction / add features / improve security by adding a callable and abstracting something away.
Good platforms feel like magic and keep people focused on their business logic.
@grinich It's either BYOK through the portal I built (wires up secrets on the workers themselves) or uses a JIT credential injection system I also built.
Recently wired that system up to mint credentials JIT for popular 3rd party services using some other internal service we have.
@grinich Iteration loop is quick, push and GitHub deploys. I typically dev on prod for non-critical tools but given they're just Workers you can use `npx wrangler dev`.
Local dev secrets aren't solved as most are just pushing, but for the "prod" environment it's either (cont)
@enggirlfriend non-AI companies with strong moats/fundamentals (already solid businesses that get improved by AI), not just propped up on the AI hype cycle, are what are interesting to me today.
@grinich If you mean finding/discovering apps, one early user built a portal that crawls the namespace and built a registry.
Recently I built a management and provisioning portal for user apps that has this built-in.
@grinich Discoverable in what sense? If you mean front-door access, each app automatically gets their own subdomain with SSO enforced. I've not shipped usage analytics but users have done it on their side. Would be trivial but this is just a time-limited side project for me.
@crofts Was surprised at how much Omega sticker prices have climbed in recent years.
My Aqua Terra and PO are my favorite watches but at current prices they're a bit absurd.
