I’m a pretty laid back, easy going person but when it comes to me paying you to do a job it’s different. I don’t play about my money. I work hard to earn so if I’m paying you to do something you’re gonna do it right.

I stepped in to let him know that if he had made it clear that that’s what he was gonna do I wouldn’t have agreed to it. He already had my money and he needed to make it look nice. I wish I had a picture of it but they ripped it out before they left.

It looked tacky. Very tacky. Normally I would’ve just left it at that and dealt with it but today I just couldn’t. He started complaining to his partner about how he wouldn’t take another job like mine.

They came back the next day, apologized and just tacked a thin piece of wood on with the old nails still in the frame. It didn’t look consistent with the rest of the door so I asked them to fix it. Four days later they came back and added a scrap piece on.

I had some guys doing work on my front door and they botched the job completely. I spent a night not being able to lock the door. They wouldn’t answer my calls nor call me back. The next day I tore a piece of wood out that they put in to get it to lock.
