A winning bet can still be a bad bet if the price was poor.

A losing bet can still be a good decision if it beat the market.

The goal is to keep making strong decisions over a large sample and let the results follow.

FC Santa Claus taken at 3 earlier today.
Pinnacle’s de-vigged closing price was 3.755, giving us roughly -20% CLV

It could still win, but the closing market suggests this was a poor entry from us. We have beat the closing line on 90% of bets this month (started recording that in my spreadsheet) however I want to highlight an example of not every bet going in our favour 🤝
