When man chooses what is good in his own eye, bad things happen. We choose to separate from God over and over and this story is replayed throughout the Bible. Its called sin.

Biblical narrative is rich in poetry, imagry, hyperbole, symbolism, parallelism, metaphors, parables, apocalyptic literature...
