Makin' your favorite tabletop apps! Dominion, Race for the Galaxy, Roll for the Galaxy.... Left Maxis a decade ago to found a studio, hard to believe we just launched our twenty-fifth boardgame product! #WhatAGameDevLooksLike
Chatting with @5games4doomsday about what games to save when the apocalypse strikes!
Also some fun bits about how to make digital boardgames.
What games would you save?
This week's guest is the owner of the company that published the apps for Dominion and Race for the Galaxy @tduringer . We talk about the development of digital games and why board games need apps...but which games did she choose?

@BriannaWu FWIW I splurged on the WS Thermoclad cookie sheets and won't bake on anything else now. Between All Clad and WS Thermoclad I prefer WS Thermoclad. They're amazing for temperature control and seem built for life. None of the usual warping so far.
We had to meet up with @TimOfLegend to drop off a couple of things, but he turned it into a day of board gaming at the @DoubleFine offices with our Bay Area friends. Thanks for hosting us!

@DCrapuchettes@PonchoRebound Daily challenges get more complex as the week progresses (following the NYT crossword precedent.) Monday may be a bit easier to follow along!
@puzzletheory So it's pretty interesting that all of this Action play is actually happening in Buy phase! Not the Action phase. And they're kicking it all off with City State, an ally which they have access to because Importer comes with five favor (to spend on Allies).
@puzzletheory Flagshipping Reckless Bridges with Rush. So Bridges reduce costs by 2. Reckless is a trait that plays a card twice but then trashes it, so that's happening on Bridges. Flagships says next time you play an action, replay it. And Rush lets you play Actions as you gain them.
