I know it is absolutely 1st world problems and one more AA flight would have solved this problem, but it is still pretty frustrating to not be able to resolve it without paying hundreds of dollars. Looks like I am going to be a @United gal now.

Sad to say goodbye to my @AmericanAir status after 4 years. After a dissapointing last flight that resulted in a lost bag & being bounced to three customer service agents (who were all nice & professional), I'm going to miss out retaining my status by less than 500 points.
