Following Jesus is not for the faint-hearted.
It will have you praying for people who hurt you, forgiving people who wronged you, and blessing people who expected revenge.
That's kingdom living.

Your period is the most honest report card your body will ever give you🫵🏾.
Heavy bleeding tells you estrogen is dominant.
Passing clots tells you your blood is stagnant and your liver is congested.
Pain tells you inflammation is high.
A long period tells you your uterine lining is overgrown because your hormones are not regulating properly.
Brown spotting before or after tells you your body is not fully clearing old blood and that your liver is overburdened.
Every single symptom is a message.
Your body is communicating with you, the question is whether you are listening.🤏🏾
BIBLE SCHOLARS, who exactly is Melchizedek? He seems to be someone big, perhaps only a little below Jesus.
In Hebrews 7 we learn that he is without a father or a mother, he is also without any genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life…”
@elroimaconi@pmcafrica@JoburgMPD I agree, but why only passenger doors (the roller door & front seat door) were a hustle to open 🤔
Worst case scenario, the fire could have spark when the taxi was on the freeway. Taxi owners are gambling with people's lives 🤞
So I was reading about King Solomon in the Bible, and honestly… this story messed with my head a little. In 1 Kings 3:12, God literally told Solomon that He would give him wisdom like no one before him and no one after him. Like… imagine being the wisest person to ever live. Ever. That made me wonder, Why did God make Solomon so special? Why give him wisdom greater than anyone else in history? Then I kept reading, and I found his downfall in 1 Kings 11.
I was confused. Where did that wisdom go?
How could the wisest man in the world end up worshiping idols? How could someone so wise make such foolish decisions? So I kept searching, reading, thinking…... and then I found this line that hit me hard: "If this was the case with the wisest man who ever lived, then what hope do we have apart from constant dependence on Jesus Christ? Let the example of Solomon drive us to greater dependence on Him." And that’s when it clicked. No matter how smart you are. No matter how blessed you are.
No matter how high God lifts you. If you stop fearing God….. If you stop depending on Him..... You can fall. Badly. Even Solomon fell.
And it honestly felt like God was talking straight to me:
“Oh you want to be wise?
Look at the wisest man in the world.
See what happened when he stopped walking with Me.”
God’s works are truly beyond our understanding.
Praise the Lord!
According to the mother: This happened today at around 4:00am. My son woke up saying his chest was hurting and that he needed to see a doctor. Normally I try to avoid rushing to the hospital because I know how he can be, but this time I decided to take him anyway.
On the way there he actually fell asleep, and for a moment I even thought of turning back. But something told me to keep going, so I drove straight to casualty at Groote Schuur Hospital.
Nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to witness in the next two hours.
About two hours later, a woman came rushing into casualty screaming in a way that cuts straight through your heart. She was carrying her little daughter, who looked about 7 or 8 years old. The pain in that mother’s cry was something I will never forget.
Doctors rushed to help, and after a few minutes they came back and told the mother that her daughter was gone.
The mother let out the most heartbreaking scream. Everyone in that casualty fell silent.
But then something incredible happened.
Instead of collapsing, the mother suddenly started praying loudly.
“Lord remember me! Lord remember me! It’s me your servant. I have served you faithfully. You are not a man that you should lie!”
At that moment I found myself sitting there crying, and I didn’t even realise when I started praying with her. She began praying in tongues, and I joined in.
About an hour and a half later, the doctors came back again. The mother saw them and immediately asked, “Is she alive?”
And the doctor said something I will never forget:
“Yes… we’re preparing a bed for her in ICU.”
The entire room froze.
The mother screamed again, but this time it was different. She started thanking God, shouting “Jesus, you are faithful!”
What amazed me even more is that she didn’t run to go see her daughter immediately. She stayed there for another hour, still praying and thanking God.
All I can say is this: I recommend Jesus. I truly do.
Because today, with my own eyes, I witnessed something that felt like a miracle — the power of prayer.
There’s probably only a 1% chance that woman will ever read this, but if she does, I want her to know that she changed my life today.
I will never forget this day.
