@jjmaples55 Us not being healthy going into the playoffs really sucked. AR, Luka, and Bron can carry us offensively but a more well-rounded bench is necessary. Also I’m not big on Ayton. I imagine him against Joker or even KAT and I fear he gets cooked
Way less interested in an apology than I am in some elaboration. Were her concerns from an offensive standpoint or defensive standpoint or both?
Offensive standpoint overlooks how incredible Brunson is at making tough shots over taller defenders. Defensive standpoint overlooks how we’ve seen defensive liabilities lead their teams to championships multiple times before. I think there’s a very interesting basketball conversation to be had here if folks aren’t dead set on “humbling” Becky with a gotcha moment.
If you’re a franchise guy, right now after watching the Knicks win, you gotta decide if you want to win one or just secure the bag. Cuz there are winning formulas out there to follow like Boston, NY, OKC, etc. Players just have to find the one that works for them
Brunson left $130 million on the table and trusted NY to build a winning roster. Is Luka willing to leave a similar amount on the table for LA to work with? Is ANT or any other franchise player? It was an insane bet that ultimately paid off, but I don’t see it becoming the trend
I think certain stars and their agents are going to use Brunson and the Knicks as leverage in their negotiations cuz the ‘power of friendship’ really did win it all for them. Teams traded, passed on, or let go a lot of the guys the Knicks have currently
ant especially. he watching his former second option bathe in champagne and they only moved him for money reasons. i would need an action plan from them asap or start warning them that they gotta get their affairs in order regarding me lol
Honestly, the Heat deserve this. Have no one but themselves to blame. Could've cashed in their chips at any point during the Butler era but went with "we have enough" instead.
