1. Sleep in a little longer if you please.
2. Eat something sweet for breakfast and offer it to Her before you take a bite (my fave rn is dipping panetonne in matcha/coffee)
3. Give yourself a massage with a nice oil (jasmine, rose, patchouli, champaka. etc)
4. Shower in the dark only with a scented candle on.
5. Write a few poems or watch an old romantic movie that sustains your attention for a few hours

Veronica Franco lived in a city that worshipped beauty yet punished women who owned it...

As a Venetian courtesan, she was permitted into salons, academies, diplomatic tables—spaces where wives were barred—but her access came with a price: she had to be exceptional. She wrote poetry with the precision of a scholar and the audacity of someone who understood that male desire was a currency she could negotiate on her own terms. Her verses didn’t flatter patrons; they challenged them. She wrote of female longing, female pleasure, female betrayal. She made herself subject, not object, which was far more scandalous than any affair.

When the Inquisition accused her of witchcraft, it wasn’t because of spells but because she dared to think, to speak, to write. A courtesan with learning was threatening; a courtesan who could defend herself in court was unholy. Yet Franco stood before Venetian judges without tears or apology, arguing not her virtue but her intellect. She presented letters, poems, testimony—evidence of a life lived openly rather than hidden in shame.

After her patrons abandoned her, she spent her later years supporting other vulnerable women, helping former courtesans rebuild their lives. Venice could strip her of wealth and reputation, but not of authorship. Franco left behind a rare legacy: a woman who turned a profession built on male consumption into a platform for female voice. In her century, she was dangerous. In ours, she is exactly what she always feared—and secretly hoped—to become: remembered.

No… lol she killed demons. She represents death of the ego, time and rebirth. I find it odd that her fierce nature, which is rooted in taming demons… is what makes people fear her the most. What you fear is her conviction. She is meant to make you see your own inner demons, and compelled to change. You should 100% be terrified, and you 100% should not fuck with anybody who works with her energy.
