I decided to take some biscuits into school tomorrow, but thought I'd better check with @educationgovuk that I wasn't contravening regulations.
I checked - has anyone else had a chance to read this yet? Might be worth bringing to the attention of your SLT asap.

"I am just a human being trying to make it in a world that is rapidly losing it's understanding of being kind. Kindness is an integral part of our human nature, we must strive to return it to the forefront of our human experience."- Robert John Meehan #quoteoftheday#quotes #quotesaboutlife

@Jayhawes1 Absolutely, the key is to figure out why you are teaching about the wars rather than another aspect of 'recent' history. For us the historical learning comes down to: the process of needing human rights agreements, the pulling together of communities and human resilience.
@Jayhawes1 Love that you have Bletchley park as a resource, how inspiring and interesting for your kids. The evacuees experience is what did it for our kids, as they could relate in age in order to grasp the experience and impact.
"I love seeing other women succeed & like to surround myself with women who light one another's candles, not extinguish them. Education is all the better for their presence. Education giants like @MaryMyatt & @Counsell_C have shaped the way that I think..." @HughesHaili 1/2

I read #thereasonijump in one sitting, wish I had read it years ago. A wonderful way to get an insight into the mind of someone with autism. It will help my mental health hugely as I navigate the challenges involved with this.
