It's important for us to remember that in addition to being a narcissist, sociopath, grifter, rapist, traitor, and serial criminal, he's also an idiot.
ALL of this is the result of YEARS of underfunding and neglect, intentionally concealing it by not collecting or reporting numbers, and only now trying to slap bandaids on UCP’s own mess after forcing teachers into a strike situation. 4/4

The province is hiding sick children in a statistical loophole. Share this story until they can’t anymore.
These families spoke publicly for the first time so the world would know. Help make sure it does.
To Karyn Frank and Ava Tuccaro, to Lori and Derek Tourangeau and their daughter Athena, and to Janelle Vermillion: I want to begin by thanking you from the bottom of my heart. What you shared with me took courage, trust, and a love so fierce it pushed past every reason you had to stay quiet. You did not have to do this. You chose to. And I hope the world receives what you’ve given it with the weight it deserves.

Today I hand-delivered Mikisew Cree First Nation's brief on the Fort Chipewyan health crisis to Dr. Albert K. Barume, Special Rapporteur on the rights of Indigenous Peoples and head of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.
Mikisew Cree First Nation has exhausted domestic channels. They have taken this to Parliament Hill, to the Prime Minister, and now to the United Nations.
So the Alberta government is ghosting me. Blow this up people:
Less than a week ago I interviewed families whose children have cancer. Whose children have autoimmune disease. I listened to mother’s describe their sick children. And then Alberta’s data says those children don’t exist. I asked the province to explain how a child diagnosed with cancer after being evacuated to another city for treatment simply vanishes from the Fort Chipewyan record. No answer.
When a government ghosts a journalist with this kind of paper trail, it is a calculated decision. They know I’m watching. They simply don’t care. Read/share at Indigenous Insider.

Legit surprised another Ministry was 𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 able to out-spend the Office of the Premier, back in January.

I wonder what the 2+ week trip to India did to benefit Alberta's Indigenous people?

The fact that 4 months ago UCP considered $2B over 4 years to address teachers’ concerns about education to be so totally impossible to consider that they stripped teachers of their charter rights and refused arbitration makes me wonder how much of this $10.8B is smoke & mirrors?
October 2025: UCP refuses to consider teachers’ top concerns because it will cost $2B more over 4 years. Ends the strike with the notwithstanding clause instead of arbitration because an arbitrator would seek middle ground.
4 months later: Budgets $10.B more for education
Why are Alberta teachers complaining?
Did you know the Alberta UCP has invested $330 million to create 19,000 new spaces for Albertans by fall of 2027?
This is a massive investment that will alleviate overcrowding.
Oh wait that's for the new arena project. Never mind. #ableg
Let's be clear about what happened today.
Premier Smith introduced a bill to strip Albertans of Charter rights,
denied MLAs the opportunity to debate it and the courts the ability to scrutinize it,
and did all of this from her seat on a jet to Saudi Arabia.
Hey #abpoli who think a 12% raise in 15 years is more than adequate, please explain why these government appointed publicly funded positions are deserving of:
66% over 5 years
I can’t believe I just saw a video of @ABDanielleSmith’s “Executive Director - Premier’s Office” condescendingly suggest a teenager should be spanked by his parents for advocating for his education. It is so hateful it seems unreal. #abpoli#cdnpoli#abed
Remember, when teachers spend money on ad campaigns to support public education the money comes from our own pocket.
When @ABDanielleSmith runs ads that mislead about teachers’ wages, working conditions and contract negotiations, you’re the one paying with your tax dollars.
UCP to Teachers 2021: AIMCo is vastly superior to ATRF and we are taking your pensions and giving it to them.
UCP to Albertan's 2023: AIMCo is vastly superior to CPP and we'll be taking your pensions to them.
UCP 2024: AimCo is vastly incompetent and we need to fire them all.
Tonight, I’m thinking about Justice Murray Sinclair and of the times that I was lucky enough to hear him speak about his work with the TRC. This moment stands out for me. It’s his answer when he was asked, “Why can’t you just get over it?”
A great man has left us. An ogimaa, a warrior for his people and for all of Canada. This is the Murray Sinclair I was privileged to know: https://t.co/Rv06lUScjM
It seems like a rather significant part of this bill is predicated on schools suddenly being given enough funding to actually have a counselor. #ableg#abed
@TheBreakdownAB So while Smith wants Alberta’s EA’s to accept a $0.70 raise over 4-years, her UCP Ministers and well paid staff fly sit in sky boxes and stay in “Luxury 5-Star” London hotels on our dime?
This is the elitism that Albertans simply do not tolerate.
Disgusting
