My girls’ Kinder teacher was delaying center time until someone admitted to humming during Story Time. Finally, one of my daughters piped up and said she was the culprit. Apologized and everything. Y’all, it wasn’t her. She just wanted to go to centers. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I would 100% prefer my kid to be able to read and understand Moby Dick, but hate it and read rarely, than to love reading Diary of a Wimpy kid and its like frequently. A love of reading is nice, but it's not the goal of literacy instruction.
