We have already willingly given so much power to content recommendation AIs, I think we are underestimating how quickly and even joyfully we will give power to AIs that will know us and talk with us.

The first has been very bad for the fabric of society, I think the second will be worse.

@the_zim I’m in the South Bronx - very few kids came (there had been a school trip planned/cancelled last minute), soaking wet. But we had shirts and sweatpants to give them, luckily. Lots of confusion about the shelter in order. But after school, everyone I know of got home safe
