Back to school thread: I’m entering my 19th year working in schools, my 12th since qualifying, my 2nd in my new school and my 1st as an Assistant Headteacher. I feel incredibly proud of this achievement and wanted to share my journey as I think it may be helpful to some.

For me where I currently am would have seemed almost impossible back when I was 18 years old. There’s so many more details I could have added but I’ve waffled on for far too long already but what I hope is this helps someone else who’s feeling stuck or in a difficult place
