@juniordoc554@NGHnhstrust@RCPhysicians - there’s your logo front and centre in enabling medically unqualified people to practise medicine.
A PA practising medicine isn’t a privilege, it’s illegal.
As a new FY1, having just certified my very first death - on a very, very, long night shift - I made myself a cup of NHS tea.
The nurse in charge subsequently threatened me with disciplinary action for ‘stealing’.
As a new ICU Registrar in Aus, I was asked for my address - so the hospital could send me a thank you hamper.
The NHS is terrible employer.
Saw a highlights reel of a headteacher high fiving kids in corridors and it was much praised. But come on - that's the easy stuff. Those kids high fived went back into a classroom where learning had to take place - it's the teachers doing the heavy lifting. Building relationships *for learning* in classrooms is much harder than one to one 'banter' in corridors. It's great if you can combine both but holding this up as 'the pinnacle' of relationship building is wrong. The teachers have to be able to manage students in conflict situations where they don't want to do 'work' for hours, sometimes days, every week. 25 seconds of 1-1 corridor sweetness is not this. Just my two pennies.

A HUGE thank you to Mr Lehare and our brilliant science team for an incredible, enriching and inspiring trip to @ZSLWhipsnadeZoo! You took every single student in year 8 and gave them memories to last a lifetime and brought the curriculum to life #LoveAddeys

Thank you @LDN_Museum Docklands for having our @Addeys300 community visit you today! Students were really focused inside the exhibitions, deepening their knowledge of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and the Docklands area during the Industrial Revolution
Anyone who has worked as a teacher, in actual schools, for any amount of time, knows that teenagers will be teenagers (and that’s great) and that they actually *LIKE* having rules and boundaries - seriously they do. They want adults who are in charge. They want that security.
Yesterday @Addeys300 students went on a 177km adventure
to @EHKenilworth Castle for the OCR GCSE tour! @OCR_History students dressed up, explored the ruins and listened to the history of the castle! 1/2
