@JANAMiziK Then others deploy dodges based on their own criteria and, in that world, a thing is just never a thing. Marc can't interview Brian McKnight's family in crisis & get upset some folks piece together clips of his wife. Brian should pay them to do it. But I know...that's different.
@JANAMiziK I see the community is adopting Joe's favorite dodge: it's "different" whenever the JBP does XYZ because of some microscopic nuance. It's not. Other people might have their own boundaries/sensitivities that no one considers before going in. It's ALL fair game.
@BohemianDiva99 "I was wrong* are the hardest words to say. There are literally 60 zillion examples of men in all cultures cheating and still being respected by other men and doing business without issue. Your point is 200% wrong in history, movies, and real life.
@Carlos__1258@theonlyiroyal Are you saying that it's none of my business to tell other people that someone else's business is none of their business? Lol ....I guess.
@BohemianDiva99@kvdzanayi But, interestingly, you didn't answer his question. And he could literally name 500 more people.
Like Jay Z.... He's really suffering in business. LMAO
@BohemianDiva99 "In business non black men will not do business with you if they learn you cheat on your wife."
You think the number of faithful rich businessmen outnumbers cheating businessmen?
LOL...this post is idiotic.
@TotesLiz You can do HelloFresh or some other grocery delivery app where you can pick 7 different meals every week and it's still cheaper than eating out every day. Unless you're eating nothing but the Wendy's 4 for 4 or Chinese food.
@Barry_Blanco903 Lol.... Now suddenly every guy on Twitter has flocks of baddies running down on them. Hilarious.
Nobody on the Internet can ever just admit to being a regular, ordinary, average every day person.
@JANAMiziK The confusion is why women won't admit what this is: the need to feel desired. It's not just "oh, I don't like my stretch marks/wrinkles." It's grieving the loss of beauty as social currency - and all the benefits - in a culture shaped by objectifying youth and pretty privilege.
@theonlyiroyal The point in my post is that he's not actually cheating since the wife knows about it (an open marriage or a hall pass, for example). But YOU don't know about their arrangement so you assume he's cheating, when it's none of your business to begin with.
@prollyhighaf You missed the experience of being a man on the other side of these conversations. We all, including Marc, know what's likely coming next.
@GloriaVelez@TheCartelDel "if calling her out of her name offended her...."
As opposed to what? Making her feel great? Lol ... When it's real, people apologize without the "if".
@ppppp1245688 I think for some men part of it is there seems to be a constant stream of what they see as complaints, weakness, and fragility from women: Hormones, post partum, aging, emotional labor, mental load, toxic masculinity, "don't need men," etc., when men just silently deal with life.
@SupernovaMomma Yes, men and the patriarchy have nothing to do with beauty standards or the lifetime of conditioning women go through to uphold those standards.
No...it's exclusively about self empowerment. Nothing to do with the male gaze at all or women's primal need to feel desired.
@RaveenTheDream Women understand patriarchy perfectly...until it comes to beauty standards. Then, suddenly, every feeling and beauty decision is entirely their own - not the decades of conditioning by men.
You feel beautiful when, subconsciously, you think others think you're beautiful.
