I’ll be returning to Twitter after a restful, restorative, and healing summer ☺️🌻 Looking forward to the new school year and bringing my ideas into the classroom!
We had an inspiring time with @CressidaCowell during the #HowToTrainYourDragon broadcast. Thank you to all the classrooms that tuned in and participated! Here’s a look back at some of the awesome moments.

this is true love 🍕
each month we take a group of students who are in good standing to have pizza lunch at a nearby restaurant... this costume definitely upgraded the experience! #walkingpizza
When you forget that it’s Twin Day at school..... but you have a sister that looks like you 🤷🏻♀️ she answered questions so my students could figure out if we were really twins or not! #ClassroomFaceTime
If you don’t know what axolotl’s are.. here’s one of my babies! This is Pepper. He’s also known as a Mexican walking fish. Axolotls are from Xochimilco Lake in Mexico. They are a critically endangered species.. about 700-1200 left in the wild! #exoticpetpermit#sciencepet#learn
We cleaned the fish/frog tank today! Taking care of our classroom pets (axolotl’s too) is a big job.. but has been so rewarding! Each student takes a turn feeding the neon tetras, catfish and frogs... they even help clean the smelly tank with me! #workingtogether#responsibility
@ExLibrisMrHunt I love that!! I will need to invest in one of these for my classroom... I think they’re from Costco! This student’s mum brought the wagon in for us... she didn’t want to sit in a stroller! 🤷🏻♀️😂
When your student has a broken toe... they don’t have to miss a walking field trip! Students had an idea to decorate this magical wagon & my heart overflowed with JOY to watch the thought and care that was shown by each student #kindness#takecareofeachother#classroomcommunity
