This quarantine has underscored an important truth that many educators have always known:
We need each other.
Nothing can replace human connection. Nothing can replace personal interactions. Nothing can replace relationships.
Most great teachers didn’t start out that way. But...
1) They reflected on what worked and what didn’t.
2) They learned from their colleagues.
3) They always kept their focus on the students.
Congratulations to Callie Traulsen! @fgcu_coe Teacher of Excellence Award Winner! “Callie is an exceptionally creative and innovative teacher. As a student at #FGCU she was always at the top her classes, and her passion for teaching was always clear.” #TeacherAppreciationWeek
