It's 2025. We've tried lots of tech in education. What hardware should all schools have?
🖊️ Every teacher should have a write-on device, like an iPad, Windows Surface, or Lenovo Yoga.
📺All classrooms should have a screen. No projectors. Interactive is optional. Must have a freeze button.
🔌All screens should have wireless casting, so no cables required to get from device -> screen.
📷All classrooms should have an Ipevo visualiser.
🧍♀️All classrooms should have a stand to put a device or visualiser on.
🛜Wifi needs to be strong and stable in every classroom in the school.
Explicit instruction works better with all of the above.
It's with great pleasure that we announce Josh Bland from Campion School as the winner of the Sportsman of the Year Award! 🎉
🏆Congratulations!

A hugely important question to ask in evaluating teaching quality is 'how many students could sit through this lesson and still learn nothing of what's being taught?' In this lesson the answer is almost certainly none.
Had a fantastic day @TheRegisSchool exploring character education. Learned so much with incredible takeaways. The students were exemplary, articulating character and its meaning beautifully. Grateful to be part of a trust that fosters collaboration.
New - this is simply remarkable. New data shows 42% of private school kids now get extra time with exams (compared with 26% in state schools). @bphillipsonMP wants to know why. Great story by Kieran Smith and Amy Borrett https://t.co/8zH7ygaeAb
How good is the new Proud Table looking? 🤩
A fantastic end to the week with hundreds of students, ranging from Year 7 to Year 13, passing by our Proud Tables to have their magnificent work recognised 🌟
Well done everyone — same time, same place next week! 👏
The thing that striked me most about Benjamin Zephaniah is his love. He really wanted to see a better world for everyone and that ran directly through his activism and his art. He was full of integrity and authenticity. His priority was people and he would not compromise on that.
The three journalists that perhaps our generation have connected with the most - Motaz, Bisan, Muhammed - have all posted their resignations, their defeat, their hopelessness. My soul shudders. I pray for their safety and for their victories

The teacher saying “don’t cry sweetheart don’t cry you’ll be back next year, this isn’t the last class in your life. I won’t leave you all, I’ll see you again”
Then at the end he says “I’m sorry sweetheart, it seems this was the last class for this life.”
what an immense privilege it is to be unaffected by war and genocide, to be able to turn off the news and go about your day without a second thought to the suffering others cannot escape
Three women who lost their sons when they took their own lives are walking 265 miles in a bid to encourage young people to talk about their problems.
On #BBCBreakfast John Maguire joined @Just3MumsWalking at the start in Cheshire

Meet @Just3Mums who have started a 265 mile trek today to raise awareness of suicide and to encourage young people to talk about their problems. All three women lost sons to suicide and are walking for @PAPYRUS_Charity
Thank you for coming into Campion school to talk to our kids today. I was moved by your assembly and the kids were too. I will continue raising awareness for suicide prevention as a teacher in memory of your sons. Good luck with the walk and keep up the great work.

Horrified to read a uni's ITT guidance paperwork yesterday offering an example day where the trainee works from 8am until 9pm as standard.
Imagine setting that precedent in your ITT programme 😳
Unbelievable news for E. Nwokeji to be representing England in 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games which will be held in Trinidad & Tobago in August this year. Best of luck Ebuka! Making us incredibly #proudtobecampion 🥇🏃♂️
