@DongyJammin I was temporarily blind as a child but had a six inch field of vision. It was like looking into a black hole. I saw colors, then nothing. Calling it black doesn’t describe it adequately. It was like a vast nothingness. It is so hard to explain.
@dkonopelko@Jenumi2 Waiting for luggage at baggage claim. Car rental companies that don’t hold cars for late arrivals. I cannot drive a 15 passenger van. All the people standing in the terminal waiting to board, blocking the ones actually boarding. Middle seats.
A6: I keep thinking about this one. It depends on the way the tech is used. If S are creating/building/etc. then the product is the proof us tech use. #edtechchat
A5: real training in software. Elementary students can figure out how to use Google slides, but the teachers should be comfortable with the program(s) to teach the students. #edtechchat
@ajpodchaski A national plan won't work. Until the government makes providing rural internet a requirement, it won't happen. It isn't profitable for anyone. And no one is going to support government mandated internet plan.
@ajpodchaski A2 con't: try living in a real rural area, cell service is limited. IF you can get satellite or a cellular hotspot you are paying a lot for limited date. #edtechchat
@ajpodchaski A2: No, infrastructure is not there. High speed internet barley exists in rural areas. And by rural, I mean 3 miles for the box that has the DSL line. Fiber runs down the highway, but no one will splice it for one or two houses on a farm... #edtechchat
