@notalexT Well it wouldn’t be good...
Since the earths rotation speed is 1k mph max and it goes around the sun at 60 k mph. It stopping around the axis is irrelevant.
Lots of people would be squished into jelly and others would be flung into space at up to 60 k mph.
Hope everyone is still functioning as we begin (officially) week 3 of quarantine!

@cgonzales99@antonioizsick Still center of mass being directly over or under the base. It’s literally the answer when anything is balancing. Admittedly not as sexy as planetary alignments or solstices or specially tilted planets, but it is the reason.
@antonioizsick The Earth’s tilt is always 23.5 degrees off vertical. Planetary alignment would have a negligible effect cause they’re so far away. Try it in June and tell people it only happens on the summer solstice of a leap year. I bet you’ll go viral.
My son stole the remote and now the only audio I can get out of my TV is a Chic-fil-a comercial.
How?!?!
I’m watching the Chiefs, but am hearing about breaded nuggets.
For the 32nd Christmas in a row my Grandma got us all a 2 dollar bill...
No clue why, although I am 64 dollars richer than I was at birth, so that’s a win I guess.
