It’s not hard to see that a whole lot of people who currently care about what kids read don’t appear to read much themselves. They don’t seem to understand what books do. Books provoke, heal, inspire, and educate! The power and joy of books are well-known to readers! #readingjoy
@thereadingzone That is such a hard no. Come to school and basically be a body. No care for the individual teachers or how teachers feeling down and out will affect the students.
Our educational system is in bad shape but not completely broken because of our amazing teachers. However, the tragedy will be when our teachers become broken. And many are close. Taking care of teachers should be a priority for politicians. School boards, and administrators.
Independent reading leads to an increased volume of reading. The more one reads, the better one reads. The more one reads, the more knowledge of words and language one acquires. The more one reads, the more fluent one becomes as a reader. https://t.co/4SAt4Lku9Q
