@NicholasFerroni I was working customer service at my second job. A student who had moved up to the middle school a year before stood there with her dad, staring at me. I smiled and greeted her. She visibly started, apologized, and said I looked JUST like one of her past teachers!

@teacherquit I had a principal that expected me to write out scripted lessons for EVERY lesson AND turn them in to him. He also expected me to be responsible for my team’s class’ behavior when they had a sub. He actually wrote me up because I wasn’t providing adequate supervision.

@BouchMaths I am always grateful to hear from my past students. And honestly? The tough ones are often the ones I connected with more easily. Those grown-up reconnections are the most rewarding.
