This hits.
People don’t avoid financial systems — they avoid what they don’t understand or trust.

We’re seeing the same while building AjoPay. Designing for trust and clarity is everything.

After fixing bugs earlier this week, we tested contributions on AjoPay.

This shows how members can contribute within a group and how the flow works.

Step by step, it’s coming together.

One thing we’re learning:

Digitizing Ajo isn’t just about payments — it’s about trust.
In real life, people rely on accountability and relationships.

Online, you have to design systems that replace that trust.
That’s the real challenge.

Week 3 building AjoPay 🚀

Spent today fixing bugs that would’ve embarrassed us🤲:

• Blacklisted users could still join 💀
• Duplicate trust scores
• Wrong token refresh URL
• Members leaving mid-cycle

Building in public is humbling.

🚀 Milestone: AjoPay user flow test

BVN verification → account setup → private group creation.

Simulating a real user journey and the core experience is coming together.

Completed our first real product test.

From login to exploring the dashboard, we’re seeing the core experience start to work.
