On Wednesday, Moses of Kanoni, Gomba, who runs a coffee factory, was shot dead by armed men in police uniforms. Based on their appearance, we can only describe them as police officers.
The reported motive is that he refused to sell his coffee to a man identified as Gabba Nogu. The men allegedly claimed they were arresting him because his factory was processing substandard coffee beans.
I started working at the age of 18 years as a radio presenter waking up at 5:00am. worked so hard in the years. At 41years I don't have to wake up early the 500 people I employe in my group of companies do the work, all I do is read reports.
This is called strategic planning!
@SpireJim It's okay to ask for all those things nga your daughter is a virgin. It's makes sense. She is one in a million. Naye most families as for alot nga the girl has seen more ceilings than a painter. Some guys even chewed her for free. Then some f00lish men spend millions to marry her
The Clerk to Parliament is the Accounting Officer of Parliament. Arresting the junior officers while leaving the person ultimately responsible in office completely unbothered, is like washing your clothes and then throwing them back into the mud.
Let all corrupt officials be arrested without turning a blind eye to anyone. This anti-corruption operation must be conducted with complete fairness and equality. Whether someone supports the NRM, PLU, or any other political affiliation, no one involved in corruption should be spared. Accountability must apply to everyone equally.
// @Lukowoyesigyire "Police received information that a motorcycle stolen from the Freedom City area in Namasuba was being taken for sale. Officers from Katwe Police Division responded and arrested Mukasa Dan.

Earlier this year, in January 2026, I passed information to the State House Anti-Corruption Unit regarding the alleged embezzlement of over UGX 600 million earmarked for road construction and rehabilitation in Kamuli District during FY 2025/2026.
The funds are alleged to have been fraudulently processed by the then Chief Administrative Officer, Mukiibi Nasser, Chief Finance Officer, Kifuuse Alex, and District Engineer, Mufumba Daniel, through Raven Knights Ltd, a company whose directors are the engineer’s sister and brother-in-law but is believed to have been under his control.
Following investigations, the CAO and CFO were arrested, while the engineer went into hiding after applying for a transfer from Kamuli District to Mbale City. Although Kamuli District initially declined to release him, a court process eventually led to his transfer.
Investigations indicate that the engineer requisitioned the funds through the company for road works that were never executed. The CAO and CFO approved the payments, and part of the money was allegedly transferred directly to the engineer to undertake works that were never carried out. His sister and brother-in-law also disappeared, and their known phone numbers became unreachable.
This morning, acting on intelligence, the State House Anti-Corruption Unit successfully arrested Eng. Mufumba Daniel in Mbale. He is expected to be arraigned before court shortly.
I commend the Head of the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, Brig. Gen. Henry Isoke, and his team for their professionalism, persistence, and unwavering commitment to fighting corruption. I also applaud all the security agencies that worked together to ensure the suspect was brought to justice.
The fight against corruption is gaining momentum. No one is above the law, and those who steal public resources meant to improve the lives of Ugandans will be held accountable.
“Kisanja no more sleep, no more corruption.” Order from His excellency the President @KagutaMuseveni

“The corrupt Engineers altered the road and avoided the route that was already compensated for and charted a new route going through their own lands that needed fresh compensation”
Why do this to your country really? H. E @KagutaMuseveni and Gen. @mkainerugaba why can’t these guys pay back????
🚨 Carlo Ancelotti on why he did not celebrate wildly after Gabriel Martinelli’s late winner for Brazil against Japan:
🗣️ “People asked me why I didn’t celebrate, but football is also about respect. Yes, we were happy to win, but I looked across and saw a Japanese team that had given absolutely everything. They fought with incredible courage, and I know exactly how painful a defeat like that can be.”
“Of course I celebrated inside because my responsibility is to Brazil and qualifying was our objective. But I’ve been in football for many years, and I’ve experienced both victory and heartbreak. Sometimes the best way to respect your opponent is to remain humble in your biggest moments.”
“Japan made us suffer for ninety-five minutes. They deserved our respect, not exaggerated celebrations. Brazil are through, but we know we must improve. Tonight we celebrate the qualification, but tomorrow we go back to work because the World Cup only gets more difficult from here.”
