This one is mine. An 89 Pioneer shortbed, with a 242 and a 4.0. Salvage title because it got a fender bender.
Currently in storage. Still looks better than my Ram 😅
With one of our machines up and running again, we can finalize this design, test, and submit to @OfficialMOPAR for approval. First of many hard to find recreation parts to carry the official Jeep logo from our shop!
More pics from Alex of the prototype fossil shifter! I have new inserts to minimize the amount you can see the threading and nut, as well as ideas on a piece to hide the jam nut on the shift lever, have it look like Hammond's cane from Jurassic Park.
This is a community effort to launch this project, so I need your help sharing to groups (dont spam please) and spreading the word so we can make this successful (trying for at least 40 pre-orders) I'll be sending regular updates and questions to those that reserve or purchase one right out with design ideas and looking for feedback.
All details are on our website!
Moving forward, you wont see any Amazon barcodes on our products, unless its stocked and shipped by them. Im grateful for our customers there, but even more so for those of you that seek out ADW parts on the website.
Our XJ shock mounts work great in most conditions, but if you find you cannot seat them in place, remember to remove the old welded fasteners and any crud / mouse nests that might have gone up there.
Some people have told us that especially on 96 models, you might need to flatten out the bracket a smidge by placing it on a flat surface and pressing down on the bend. Not much, just enough to help slide it in smooth.
(yes, that is what my XJ looks like underneath. Halp!)
I have new versions ready to go, and working with my material supplier for custom colors in the same almost indestructible (and USA made) material we use now.
The imports and acrylic etsy shops don't compare, I have the samples from them, an even after copying my installation tools, they still sell sub-standard parts that will look like garbage in just a few years.
If you have a @Jeep dealership and are interested, our branded parts are 100% licensed and carry the @OfficialMOPAR logo.
@TeamADW
Jeep Cherokee / Comanche linkages are shipping and back in stock.
Designed, made, and supported in the USA by Jeep enthusiasts, proudly carrying the @OfficialMOPAR logo.
We're running an end of year sale on the website, and now have accurate stock levels of all of our gauge kits for Jeep XJ, TJ, and JK.
Some patterns will not be returning in 2026, but many will. Just taking some time to progress on other projects during this hectic season!

Due to increased costs, I made the decision to switch our current badge packaging from metallic to clear poly. It will also cut down on some of the waste involved with what is ultimately just tossed.
