the governing bodies only like you if you are capable of convincing private companies to sponsor you - if an aspiring athlete asks them to actually do their job then they are a “problem” that needs to be dismissed. Then that problem ends up being poached by a supportive country.

year in year out it’s been athletes from sports that are always overlooked in this country who end up bringing it glory. Being born here is a literal disadvantage already - if ur not into the 2 main sports, you have to learn how to beg, and beg well.

I genuinely have a lot of feelings towards Namjoon’s art - his songwriting, his compositions, the way he uses language, but it’s so difficult to put it into words most times bc I’m always overwhelmed. One day I’ll be calm enough to articulate my feelings.

@fIytomyR00M It’s already so intense just on its own but experiencing it the way Joon visualized it just really makes my heart feel like it’s bursting😅 but really on the topic of JITB, I highly recommend it as the soundtrack going to and from work. Absolutely brings up the mood.

Safety Zone for me at first BUT! Last year while on a walk along the Han river, Future came up on my shuffle and I don’t know but the timing, the setting, all of it changed the way the song meant to me. Felt like a soundtrack to my life suddenly.

@fIytomyR00M It was! I tend to take time now to listen to certain albums in situations that I know will amplify how I feel about it - for example, I made Indigo a soundtrack to a walk around parks in Taipei. I had to sit down when Wildflower came on and I was in an actual flower field 😭
