Many people run too fast on their recovery days. Especially on HS teams
The top kid sets the pace. So those who are motivated & want to be good, latch on to them
The top kid may be recovering. But most of the rest aren't
On recovery days, let kids know it's okay to go slow
So much of the nonsense related to exercise on this platform is related to a simple fact:
People try to differentiate themselves by rebranding a concept, complicating it, doing crazy stuff, & so forth.
It's aimed at making a name and capturing an audience. Not what really works
@andrewwoodroffe Not so different from any social media platform really. The problem is the audience now are so quick to take opinion as fact and not do any deeper digging into the value or accuracy of the content.
The beauty is, to a degree it can filter your leads for you by default 🤫
Quit trying to copy other people’s routines “for success” !
That’s what works for them.
Be brutally honest in your assessment of what does and doesn’t work for you then build your own routine. And stick to it.
Like anything else in life, the key is adaptability
Far too many athletes think they are getting their training volume wrong when they break down.
First, look at your intensity and the volume of intensity. Odds are this will be the culprit you’re looking for.
Stop looking for gains in the 1%ers unless you are already doing the basics that make the real difference really well consistently.
You’re wasting your time.
@beselfmastered@Wealth_Pill There’s so much hype these days around doing things the wrong way. Let’s call it “ the goggins effect” 😂
So many people missing out on longer term enjoyment and reaching their potential because “stupid” is glorified and seen as better than smart training.
