We are very excited to offer an Interactive Fiction Summer School @britishlibrary this August, running alongside our new Digital Storytelling exhibition! ✍️👾

Hello, fellow people still using twitter - hope you're all doing ok despite... (*gestures wildly at the world*)!
I (Flo) just wanted to mention a couple of projects coming up soon!
Amarantus is a visual novel about young people trying to start a revolution, in which every line and every choice feels moving and meaningful.

@sallybeaumont1 @florencesn There aren't yet, but if this is something more people are interested in, I will definitely keep it in mind when planning ahead! -Flo
Whenever we're not on contracts (or resting!) Destina and I busy ourselves with Elemental Flow. Various things are still in flux, but here's a teaser gif of our menus - because menus are important (for us, and many RPGs)!
There are also going to be some great guest speakers for the summer school, sharing their expertise in the realms of Ink, interactive fiction and storytelling: @betterthemask, @CoreyBrotherson, @danhett and our own Destina!
We're delighted to announce that the 2022 Spring Thing Festival of Interactive Fiction, featuring 47 new playable stories written in Adventuron, Bitsy, Dendry, Inform, Kreate, Perplexity, Ren'Py, Squiffy, Strand, and Twine, is now open! https://t.co/NdLfhbeWq6
We are now launching our search for the next IntroComp organizer!
Details on how to express interest and the anticipated next steps are posted on https://t.co/9UTgahLHUr.
The deadline for expressing your interest in being considered is Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
If you missed my talk about Individual Creators' Fingerprints in JRPGs at the IF, and you are still interested in listening to me blab for 2 hours, we put a recording of it online: https://t.co/vd42ANMo3J

In a week, I'll be geeking out about JRPGs at the London-Oxford IF Meetup again! This time, I'm talking about different creators' styles and signatures, the feels they evoke, and JRPGs as art rather than just product in general.

AdventureX (the actual physical event) is going on this weekend, and we have very fond memories of it. It is definitely deserving of your love and attention, if you care about narrative games of all shapes and sizes and can access the London area:

Hi!
Little peep out of us to mention that Dialogue is currently on sale on Steam, along with lots of other lovely narrative games associated with AdventureX:

It released a while ago, but we're still pretty proud of it as a deceptively deep and innovative piece about conversation mechanics and everyday conversation!
(Also, every Steam review really matters to us as tiny indies, so if you have any inkling, leave a review!)
@catacalypto Ah, thank you! It was a fun one to work on - both in terms of the cute icons (possum included, haha!) and getting to read through the scenes ahead of time. Glad other people get to try it now! -Flo
