Look, Doug, asking tough questions isn’t an “attack” it’s accountability.
You work for the people of Ontario. Taxpayers pay your salary. We have every right to ask questions about your decisions, your policies, and the direction you’re taking the province.
That’s not hostility. That’s democracy.
In any workplace, employees are expected to answer questions about their performance and decisions. Public office should be no different. In fact, the standard should be higher because elected officials are entrusted with billions of taxpayer dollars and decisions that affect millions of people.
The media has a job to do. Citizens have a job to do. Holding elected officials accountable isn’t an attack it’s part of a healthy democracy.
If a government can’t handle scrutiny, then the problem isn’t the questions.
Classic dodge - he completely avoids answering the question and instead uses it as an opportunity to promote his government.
Ford is the worst kind of politician.
We deserve so much better - more honest, transparent, accountable.

Who do you think PAYS for Doug Ford’s
'Protect Ontario' ads?
Ontarians.
MILLIONS of $$$$ are being SIPHONED AWAY from

Premier Ford justifies spending millions of taxpayers dollars on ‘Protect Ontario’ ads: “if we don’t inform people, the only choice they have is to listen to the media.”
Watch the exchange here:
NEW: Barely half a year after the provincial government ordered Toronto to stop issuing speeding tickets from the cameras it had set up across the city, staff say the number of drivers blasting past the limit has increased more than 350%. #Topoli#OnPoli https://t.co/9lofeALtGJ
#NEW: Drivers speeding well above posted limit has surged nearly 400 per cent since removal of automated cameras. Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow speaks out

NEW: I asked Premier Ford if he will correct or retract his “fake poll” claim after Angus Reid Institute sent him a legal letter demanding he “correct the public record.”
The survey ranked Ford as Canada’s least popular premier, with his approval at 21%.
Teachers deserve real new funding for their classrooms. Instead, Paul Calandra is taking $300 from existing school board budgets, putting it on a card, and pretending it’s something new.
Like clockwork, @fordnation, who just experienced a weekend of ridicule following their sad FlopFest, is out with a big announcement of investing...
$3 a child.
Pennies for Ontario children, while we waste hundreds of millions of $$$ on a European spa company's MegaGarage 👏🦭
🚨 Ontario's nuclear plan could cost ratepayers $117 billion more than a renewable energy alternative by 2050. https://t.co/1JuRCYMdRg #onpoli#energytransition
We heard Doug Ford was holding a press conference in Toronto.
Striking community, health and social services were there to greet him with a clear message: fund our services, deliver stolen wages, and end the strike. #WorthFightingFor
Burning garbage could soon count as renewable energy in Ontario under a Ford government proposal that some observers warn will fuel more harmful waste incineration, while others suggest it’s a viable solution.

Elected officials are accountable to you, the hardworking public. We have a responsibility to remain available, accessible, and honest with those we serve.
But, we all know that Doug Ford has never had much time for accountability. In fact, Ford’s Conservatives went to the extreme of gutting Freedom of Information laws to keep government decisions from public view.
We just found out today: those FOI changes also cover his daily calendar.
That’s right. The daily schedule of the Premier of Ontario is now off limits.
Where’s Doug Ford spending his time? What is he trying to hide?

Metrolinx just wrote off $500M in signalling upgrades that are now useless, per Global News. Meanwhile Ontario schools cut EA hours for special ed students. $500M could’ve funded years of 1:1 support for kids who need it most. Wrong priorities. #ONpoli#onted https://t.co/5R7gjE1TEW
At #FordFest2026, I wore an Ontario PC Pride month shirt. PC volunteers called me a "f#ggot," mocked my autism, touched my hair & stole my water bottle. This is the "moderate" party's ground-level reality. Their big tent has a rotten pole. #CDNpoli #ONpoli #ProtestMania

Ford changed auto insurance benefits many people will not understand. Passengers in your car are no longer covered unless they are family. Loss of wages is no longer standard. Many of these changes will open the door to legal actions against the driver.

As I just said on radio Ford’s team posting AI doctored photos of the crowd trying to make protestors look like supporters is deceitful and trying to hide his unpopularity with a fake image is pathetic! No wonder he’s rate worst Premier in Canada! #Onpoli https://t.co/MBQrJeRR88
