Championing Youth Involvement in the Tea Sub-sector 4 K Club Tea Champion, Training of Trainers(TOT) for the East of the Rift region kicked off today at the Roswam Hotel, Kirinyaga county,targeting 4-K club school patrons in Murang'a, Nyeri, Embu and Kirinyaga counties.
Day 2 of the training of trainers exercise that took place at Sunshine Hotel in Kericho. The teachers were trained on how to execute the 4K club Tea champion award
4-K CLUB TEA CHAMPION
Tea board of Kenya (TBK) has partnered with the Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock and Ministry of Education to Launch the 4 K CLUB TEA CHAMPION.
This is a National interschool Tea Competition themed "Championing Youth Involvement in Kenya Tea".
The Tea Board of Kenya has collaborated with the 4K clubs under the Ministry of Agriculture and livestock development to come up with an award scheme: "4-K CLUB CREA-TEA-VR CHALLENGE"
This award scheme is open to all 4-K club members. Deadline to apply is 15th January 2023
