I think people have a very tough time understanding that victims of a nonconsensual encounter offffften try to convince themselves for a long time that it was consensual before arriving to the conclusion that they were violated. It's too complicated for them to understand

rehabilitation to me means that the person who caused harm fully understands and feels the appropriate amount of remorse for their actions. and if rapists did that, the only path forward for them would be to blow their shit smooth off so do with that what you will

october is OCD awareness month. i wish for people to educate themselves on OCD and to understand that it is a debilitating mental health disorder. it isn’t just being organised and clean. OCD has taken years of my life from me and i wish people knew how awful it really is.
