Last night, I asked my wife a hypothetical question: what if I decided to do a DNA test to confirm that I’m truly the father of our baby? She laughed and replied, “Are you going to use my money?”

She went on to say, “I honestly don’t see the fuss about all this. Women sometimes cry over unnecessary things. If you’re not cheating on your partner, why should you be angry if he does a DNA test to confirm the paternity of his child? What if the baby was swapped at the hospital? How else would you find out?”

I asked her again, just to be sure: “So you won’t be angry or cry about it?”

She replied, “The only thing that will make me angry is if I don’t get my push gift.”

We both burst out laughing and left it at that.

There are so many things I read on SM and discuss it with my wife. I’m glad I could share this one because it’s still fresh.
