People who are unwilling to admit their mistakes are unable to learn from them.
Acknowledging yesterday's error is a prerequisite to correcting it today and preventing more tomorrow.
When we get it wrong, arrogance insists "I was right." Humility says "I want to make it right."
Brady Tebo (Hamilton) scored with 2 seconds left to help his team win 83-81 in the Ring of Fire All-Star Game on Tuesday. Brian Parks (Union) was team MVP with 18 points. Austin Buckley (Byron Center) was his team's MVP with 17. Tebo had 14.

Great post by @Saypa in collaboration with FLC members who were invited to attend the @asugsvsummit by @MichiganVirtual. Wonderful learning experience which challenged us to lean into innovation. @ryanbruderDCS@tebotweets

If students aren’t getting enough physical activity, unstructured play, & recess, don’t blame them when they get restless, fidgety, & can’t focus in class. Children need to move! Physical activity and play, enhances focus, self regulation of emotions, & academic performance.
Thankful for God giving me the ability to stay healthy and pursue my dream as an athlete, my dad for growing me into the man and athlete I am today and for the opportunity @CoachJoeFox has given me. With that being said my next chapter will be as a Raider! #letswork
8: Ego is dominant when an individual can only see things from their angle. Being able to see more views than just your own is a sign that compassion is present and active in your mind.
7: Ego is at work whenever you are looking down on someone, judging them harshly, and writing them off as permanently toxic or too far gone to redeem themselves.
6: Ego is incredibly sneaky, you can do a lot of inner work and get yourself to a better place and still have moments where ego twists your logic and clouds what you see.
3: Many get trapped in a cycle of ego dominance where they can only see their view and nothing can ever be their fault, they will even jump through hoops to place all blame outside of themselves – when the mind is this fragile it can normally be traced back to trauma.
2: There is a sense of comfort the ego feels from uniformity – when our family, friends and peers are all aligned with a particular view of what is right and what is wrong, we feel the pleasantness of safety and the reassurance that our view is correct.
