Some old Laughin skits featuring Goldie Hawk and Johnny Carson. Who remembers watching this? I am a bit younger than this show, but I remember the reruns.
Dude starts fire in his own house and gets into a fight with first responders that are there to help save his home.
What began as a emergency call regarding a fire at Steven Smith’s residence on West McMackin Street quickly spiraled into a chaotic confrontation.
Smith remained at the scene, where he was observed verbally attacking responding firefighters.
The situation intensified when law enforcement arrived to secure the scene.
As officers attempted to maintain the perimeter, Smith adamantly asserted his rights, telling officers, "This is my yard," before engaging in a physical altercation that included an alleged chest-bump with an officer.
Smith was taken into custody at the scene and is now facing serious charges, including:
Aggravated battery to a police officer
Resisting arrest
Residential arson, following investigations that identified an ignited 2.5-gallon gas can in the basement
He has been assigned a public defender and released on pre-trial conditions.
As President, I would read 10 letters a day sent to me by ordinary Americans. At the Obama Presidential Center, we’ll have some of the letters I read — and responded to — every night. I still get emotional reading them, and it’s one of my favorite exhibits.
Tim Conway on Johnny Carson in 1986, still one of the funniest things ever put on TV. Pure physical comedy genius. Classic gold that never gets old.
Rest in peace to a legend who brought joy to millions. 😂
