On Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we’re celebrating the importance of creating digital experiences that everyone can use. When accessibility is built into the process from day one, we create products that are more usable and accessible for all.

Every inaccessible element, button, image, or form field makes it harder for persons with disabilities to navigate, understand, and use digital products. Designing accessible digital products means removing those barriers and building a digital space for all. #DigitalAccessibility #Accessibility #A11y #InclusiveDesign #UX #Accessibility #Disability
How do people with vision disabilities experience emojis?
For blind people, emojis aren’t just visual, they’re heard. Screen reader software translates them into short descriptions like “thinking face” or “red heart”.
Add emojis thoughtfully, because screen readers announce them within the flow of a sentence, which can disrupt understanding.
Keep it simple Avoid overloading messages with emojis Place emojis at the end of sentences, not in the middle
