Few months ago I made a decision to not sit on ideas, in my journey as a software developer, I have achieved something very significant in the space of 12 months.

Exactly 1 year ago i dropped the blind ambition I had and officially started my tech journey.

I came 1st Place in the @Bmoniapp X @learn2earnNG Hackathon.

With a project so dear to me “Kola”.
I’ve had the privilege to pitch this idea to men of the Aliko Dangote Foundation YGL few weeks ago.

Now I officially just won my first Hackathon as a developer and solo builder.

I’m also a 1X Bounty winner for my technical documentation for @MidnightNtwrk

I want to thank God for this win.

I won’t stop here, I will build Kola past MVP level by God’s grace.

An in-person hackathon in Lagos, October 20-22. The total prize pool is ₦90 Million. First place is ₦35M, second is ₦20M, third is ₦15M.

That's not a typo.

It's fintech-focused. 10 tracks: AI, fraud detection, digital banking, SME financing and more. You pick a track, you build something around it, you compete.

Who can enter: African citizens, 20-35 years old, in teams of 2-4. No solo entries. If you don't have a team yet, that's what the comment section is for. Drop a comment and let's connect people.

The Stock Meme Meta Just Got Interesting

I’ve been watching this whole tokenized stock thing get more interesting lately.

And now STONK just did +250% in 24h.

But the price isn’t even the part I’m looking at.

StonkFun is basically letting people create tokens around tokenized stocks and ETFs.

So you’re starting to get this weird mix of:

TradFi assets + meme liquidity + DeFi.

And that’s exactly the kind of combination that can catch people off guard.

The interesting part is that StonkFun just integrated with Raydium LaunchLab too, and the platform is already pulling serious volume.

I wouldn’t chase a 250% candle.

I’d watch the meta behind it.

Because if traders start treating tokenized stocks like another primitive for onchain speculation, there could be a lot more coming from this category.

This is one I’ll be watching.
