@llm_wizard@latkins Yeah I think we need exactly that.
All big labs will have the incentive to nerf competitive usage of their public models.
We need a way to understand when it is happening and to what extent.
@rohanpaul_ai I wonder how this will impact its performance on ML work for non-competing / non-frontier models.
I’d imagine there will be some spillover.
With ads back on TBPN, the show is starting to get its vibes back.
For a while after the acquisition, the show felt a bit low energy. I’m guessing Jordi and John were treading lightly while they got their sea legs at OpenAI.
I’m glad to see them loosen back up.
@jthornwe@TheStalwart@citrini If models can continually learn and personalize to you without storage then maybe photo storage can be transient, with the details of the event compressed into model weights?
@GergelyOrosz@DanBerger_ I try to mark them as AI with thumbs down button.
I think soon X will train a good AI classifier to suppress and ban them en masse.
@clairevo I’m not sure if Coinbase’s core problem is execution.
More that their business model revolves around trading flows of a highly cyclical asset class.
And that asset class is down bad despite the most favorable regulatory environment to-date.
@DeplorableSEO@pizzintwatch@nikitabier I bet it’s the same search endpoint as the twitter app.
Grok is probably better at the “agentic search” part where it translates the user intent into multiple keyword searches / reviews results / reformulates if needed.
@PalwinderCFA@KobeissiLetter rev share is better than equity as long as openAI is losing money.
microsoft was getting free money, now they need to wait for OpenAI to become profitable
@Aneka15amyth@DaveShapi@CarlWhi99454847 fair enough
my prior is a large blue plurality
I don’t want them to die
so I’d want to do my part to make that plurality a narrow majority
@Aneka15amyth@DaveShapi@CarlWhi99454847 To me, voting red is supporting a regime where “the majority kill the minority”
Sure the minority is self selecting, but they can be saved easily enough by voting blue.
@simonw@b_nnett@mstockton I know many people who consider $20/month expensive and $100 unthinkable.
For them I think hitting rate limits on the pro plan would be a huge bummer / create negative experience with the brand.
(I am a max sub fwiw)
