Since 1983 my family has attended Family Camp @FrostValley the last week of August. So proud to continue this tradition for 40 years with my own family. My teens LOVE to spend this week with NO CELL SERVICE, and disconnected from the outside world so we can reconnect as a family.

My 17 yo daughter is a “section leader” in her HS’s Women’s Choir this year. She must ensure that the women in her section know their parts to 2 songs by the 1st day of school. She had her 1st rehearsal today. Me: How’d it go?

I just finished binge watching #SnowflakeMountain on @netflix. THIS is why my kids have camped & hiked & climbed & fished & swam & kayaked. You can’t teach resilience without making them work hard. You can’t teach them perseverance without facing failure. #outdooreducation
