@LaughingTroll1@shaunmmaguire Will the Psyche Asteroid with trillions of worth be physically returned to earth? No. It will be the new economy in space that has trillions of $$$ of resources at it's orbit-tips.
@MarcNixon24 Canada WAS the best country on Earth for a time. What country really stands out now though? It's all the same. Mass public debt owed to investors and privatization making it all worse. Everywhere is a quagmire of exploitation and corruption. Global.
@HerDivineEye@Harry__Faulkner@TaylorCtaylor67 I returned to X for today for just this. My great great great great great great great great grandfather and mothers were brought here in horrible circumstances. It has been hundreds of years and we all now need to share in the success of our future together.
@JakeLandauTO@LPC_Hack Flood the country with a bunch of hard workers from overseas. They are better than our workers.
Are they?
Yeah they work for loonies. Live 8 to a room.
@LPC_Hack Stop this grind of lives and money now. Ukraine not in NATO. A peace with concessions made. And maybe this time get it in writing there Russia!
@LPC_Hack Is it tied to Silver and other metals? Lithium etc? Is it time for Canada to rip apart our lakes, forests and rivers so we can satisfy the "progress of society"? Make some folks a buck or two? Leave future Canadians to pay for the cleanup?
@guyfelicella As a Canadian I get Universal Healthcare (sucks in a small town). Food safety (Food banks). Clean Water (boil it). Service all around (fewer hospital beds per 1000, more children per classroom). Life should be much better.
@imprisonedblog@dimitrilascaris@MarkJCarney Wrong. Canada's newest tranche of 2.5 billion has nothing to do with arrangements made in the EU. regarding Russian assets. "Repaid by Ukraine, or backed by Canada's budget via the guarantees."
@thewarylemming@Jenniferl554563 It is a guaranteed loan to the Ukraine which Canada must borrow. Hence Canada is spending money on Ukraine we do not have. Is that a better explanation?
@ryangerritsen I will send my letter on Monday morning to:
Office of the Prime Minister
80 Wellington Street
Ottawa, ON K1A 0A2
I am writing to express my deep concern about Canada’s continued and significant expenditures on overseas engagements. The amount of my tax dollars going toward ...
@evo1tactical@Savage16May Is it not more nuanced? The Russian's are not Nazis. They are also not our friends. The long history of NATO expansion eastward plays a major role. Why should Canadians be paying the ongoing price for NATO folly?
