@teachbk As a veteran teacher and mentor, I’m appalled at this. Our job is to encourage and nurture teachers, an unscheduled observation with no rapport with the teacher or understanding of the classroom culture accomplishes nothing but alienating those we’re supposed to support.

@teacher2teacher Pace yourself! Unbridled enthusiasm will eventually lead to an exhausted teacher. The first few years all those after school activities and committees sound fun, resist temptation to volunteer for everything. You have a long career ahead of you.

@teacher2teacher We take time to “be in the moment” with deep breathing, listening to our heartbeat, cross midline stretching, basic yoga positions and guided meditation. And sometimes, we just gotta dance..🎶
