Nevada just swapped Tesla's 10-vehicle interim robotaxi permit for a 5,000 ceiling, but that number is regulatory headroom, not a forecast. Tesla says a 2,500-vehicle fleet would count as a win.

The @LucidMotors Gravity GT-S is fast, finished, and aimed at a sliver of the market. Lucid's real constraint is volume, and the car that could change that is still a year away.

Stripe's $7.5 billion purchase of OpenRouter looks like an AI moonshot, but the logic simpler. OpenRouter sits at the exact point where AI usage turns into a metered bill, which is the business Stripe has always been in. The bigger bet is on AI agents that will soon spend money on people's behalf, and Stripe wants to own the toll booth where that spending gets counted.

@alex_avoigt There might be in the future, but we are nowhere close yet. I’m not against Tesla, I want this to work, but you have to be realistic in expectations.
Im surprised how many don't know about FSD. Was talking to some college grad students, very tech/AI knowledgeable and one said, you don't hear much about Tesla self driving. Im thinking, its all I see in my feed. The majority of people don't live in the Tesla bubble like we do.
@mcuban In certain aspects your'e right, in others, I think AI will play a significant role in reducing Dr. visits and addressing many common, treatable, less complex issues.
@throau@SnazzyLabs Thats of course your prerogative. I choose not to prejudge the 125,000 employees that make up the company based on one persons beliefs.
Institutional and retail investors have a choice as to whether to invest or not. No one is forcing them to buy the stock. You act as if no one realizes that he exaggerates timelines and the valuations of his companies are high. It’s obvious and some choose to believe that his companies will succeed..
