Serious allegations are coming from Renjish’s friends.

His wife was in Qatar in a live-in relationship with another man. Allegedly, her boyfriend sent one-time-view videos to Renjish’s phone. After watching them, Renjish was visibly shattered and didn’t leave the house for days.

His friends and relatives are urging mainstream media to take up the case and uncover the full truth.

No sympathy for this woman at all. She has no conscience.

Even after everything, she refused to send their child to perform the last rites for his father. Under pressure from locals and neighbors, she first said she would send the child only if they brought a guarantee letter from the Panchayat. But when they returned with the letter, she changed her mind again.

Finally, Renjish’s relatives had to approach the Family Court. Only after the court ordered her to release the child for 5 hours did she allow him to go. She even tried to snatch away a son’s right to perform his father’s last rites.

I hope karma catches up with her quickly.

She is Sunita Oyam, a 23 year old Maoist who had a ₹14 lakh bounty and has now surrendered. Under the MP govt’s Ladla Naxal surrender yojna, she is eligible for:

1. ₹14 lakh surrender incentive (since the incentive is ₹5 lakh or the declared reward amount, whichever is higher).

2. ₹20 lakh grant for the purchase of immovable property/land.

3. ₹1.5 lakh grant for house construction.

4. ₹20,000 to ₹4.5 lakh ex-gratia for surrendering working weapons (depending on weapon category).

5. ₹50,000 marriage allowance.

6. ₹1.5 lakh for education or vocational training.

7. Eligibility for a govt job, most commonly in the police department.

What a life, man! Pick up a weapon, wage war against the country, kill people, be wanted in three states, and then surrender one day to enjoy the good life. Meanwhile, there are people who slave away like donkeys to feed their families and still can’t save in a lifetime what a Ladla Naxal can get just by surrendering.

कोई भी पत्नी अपने पति को मां-बाप से अलग रहने को मजबूर नहीं कर सकती। यदि पत्नी ऐसा करती है तो पति उसे तलाक दे सकता है।

विदित हो कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट एक ऐसे मामले में फैसला सुना चुका है। कोर्ट ने टिप्पणी करते हुए कहा था कि हिन्दू लॉ के मुताबिक कोई भी महिला किसी भी बेटे को उसके मां-बाप के प्रति पवित्र दायित्वों के निर्वहन से मना नहीं कर सकती। एक महिला शादी के बाद पति के परिवार की सदस्य बन जाती है। वह इस आधार पर पति को परिवार से अलग नहीं कर सकती कि वो पति की आय का पूरा उपभोग नहीं कर पा रही है। कोर्ट ने कर्नाटक के एक दंपत्ति के तलाक की अर्जी को मंजूरी देते हुए ये टिप्पणी की थी।

• सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने जजमेंट में लिखा था कि भारत में हिन्दू परिवारों में न तो यह सामान्य बात है और न ही प्रचलन में है कि कोई भी बेटा अपनी पत्नी के कहने पर शादी के बाद बूढ़े मां-बाप को छोड़ दे। एक बेटे को मां-बाप सिर्फ जन्म ही नहीं देते बल्कि परवरिश भी करते हैं। पढ़ाते-लिखाते हैं। ऐसे में बेटे की भी नैतिक और कानूनी जिम्मेदारी बनती है कि वे वृद्ध माता-पिता के भरण-पोषण की जिम्मेदारी ले।

ऐसा करना क्रूरता के श्रेणी में आएगा…
• एनसीआईबी दिल्ली इकाई की एडिशनल स्टेट डायरेक्टर एवं दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट की एडवोकेट कु॰ राम्या वर्मा का कहना है कि हिंदू विवाह अधिनियम के तहत यदि पत्नी ऐसा करती है तो यह क्रूरता की श्रेणी में आएगा। किसी को भोजन नहीं देना, अश्लील बातें करना, मारना-पीटना या मानसिक तौर पर परेशान करना भी क्रूरता में आता है। यह तलाक का एक आधार हो सकता है।

• यदि पति अपने मां-बात की सेवा करना चाहता है तो पत्नी उसे मजबूरन मां-बाप से अलग नहीं कर सकती। वहीं यदि बेटा भी मां-बाप के साथ रहना नहीं चाहता तो मां-बता उसे साथ रहने के लिए जबरन नहीं कह सकते लेकिन वृद्ध मां-बाप बेटे से भरण-पोषण की मांग जरूर कर सकते हैं। यह उनका अधिकार है।
