Most AI startup founders I talk to are feeling the acceleration. They're swimming with the current, things work, they're growing, customers want AI.
In our case, we don't have to explain what an AI support agent is anymore, customers already understand it, and they know they need it.
The AI application layer will probably be much bigger than the entire SaaS industry is today. The world is full of problems the AI application layer can solve, a ton of value to capture.

Dario Amodei says AI is now writing "much of the code" at Anthropic, and that we may be "only 1-2 years away from a point where the current generation of AI autonomously builds the next."
The researchers call this an intelligence explosion.

@mattshumer_ just wrote the most important thing I've read about AI this year.
He's spent 6 years building an AI startup. He says we're in the "this seems overblown" phase of something much bigger than Covid.
The gap between what insiders know and what the public perceives has gotten dangerously wide.
This is the honest version. Not the cocktail-party version.
