@Rose_in_PA @paul_emerich we take 4 benchmarks a year plus state testing. Each one takes a couple hours a day for 2 weeks. All that time lost from actual instruction.

@MrVaudrey we are moving to standards based grading, so we have advanced, proficient, basic and below basic and we have a rubric with descriptors for each in kid friendly language we discuss at the beginning of the lesson/unit
