@PHLY_Flyers He said it himself, he didn't care how the coaches wanted him to play, he was going to play his way, and he wasn't going to change. Don't let the door hit you...
@cartmag_mark@hockeygobler I thought it was a very entertaining season in all honesty. The comebacks, the shootout wins, the never say die attitude. Some great hits, stuck up for teammates... and they played their hearts out the last 6 weeks of the season. A lot to build on.
@Anth_Chatburn I don't get the Beniers love. He's 6'2" and 181 lbs soaking wet. He can't take a hit, can't clear the front of the net, and is prone to concussions. Good, not great offensive skill, sure. He won't survive a season in the Metro division.
@cartmag_mark@hockeygobler They've been a mediocre team for over a decade. They were fun to watch this year, and it'll be fun to see what they can put together next year. It's summer time, enjoy your life instead of bitching about things you can't change.
@JacksonHockey_ Don't listen to the Kensington Ave/Twitter crowd Paul, you're spot on. Goalies are an enigma, Vladar gave the team a chance this year and is worth taking some risk, and he's a great team mate.
@charlieo_conn Hockey's greatest villain, a true legend. There's a great interview out there with him and Darren McCarty from a few years ago. They had never met outside the rink before. Great watch.
@charlieo_conn I'm very happy for Torts and Carter, I thought he did a great job in Philly and I was sorry to see him go. Don't care what the Philly manic depressives say.
