The Fred's Back #C64 series is great platforming fun that really pushed the graphics envelope in terms of colours and scrolling. I thoroughly recommend them for anyone who wants good gaming session.
ALCON 2020/Slap Fight for the Amstrad CPC (by Abalore) is a nice remake that surpasses in every aspect the Ocean port from back in the day.
Slap Fight (aka Alcon) is originally a 1986 vertical shooter by Toaplan/Taito.

🎧🔊 Virocop for the Amiga (Renegade/Graftgold/1995) is a top down shooter where the player controls a robot named D.A.V.E. on a mission to destroy viruses across various vibrant, well designed and colorful levels (AGA shown).
A hidden gem/late release that was well received by magazine reviewers back then.

Wani Wani World for the Mega Drive (Kaneco/1992).
A charming and fast-paced 2D puzzle-platformer released only in Japan.
Kind of a combination of Bubble Bobble and Lode Runner.
With 45 levels, it's well designed and worth a look if you're into these types of fixed screen games.
🦇 Update of Castlevania AGA (#CommodoreAmiga) adds a proper Simon Belmont (specially made for this version), options menu with audio test feature to enjoy the soundtrack (also specially made for Amiga), and more. Available now👉https://t.co/TLiyzIXqk8

AmiGoonies for the Amiga AGA (by Marlox/2-Bit Combo/Amaweks) has a new and comprehensive update, looking great with new scenes and enemies.
It's a reimagining of the Konami game (not a port), mostly based on the MSX version, but using Amiga's features such as per-pixel scrolling, parallax and zero "sprite flicker" (mostly blitter objects, to be precise).
