VIRAL THIS POST 🤬🤬🤬🤬I agree with YB Lee.
How is it possible for the authorities to identify 5,000 people in a single housing estate before a place of worship is even allocated? This rule appears designed to make it impossible, for non-Muslims to obtain space for their worship.
The Selangor Government should own up to this mistake. They should immediately withdraw these flawed regulations, apologise to the non-Muslim community, and restart the entire process:- this time conducting proper consultations from the very beginning.
The statements from the DAP EXCO in LIMAS are unconvincing.
To these EXCO members I have a simple question:
Did you not approve this policy as part of the EXCO? Why are you now saying that “further consultations” will be held? If you were present during the approval, why didn’t you raise the need for consultations at that time, and not approve it?
Why does it take public exposure before action is taken?
Please come clean and apologise to all non-Muslims in Selangor. Playing with words and semantics will not help. The people are not stupid. There is no logic in saying something was “approved” first and only now “consultations will be done”.
No more BS please. 👎👎👎 Just trash these regulations!!!
